Rock the Road 2022

Lace up your sneakers and support the Junior League of the Emerald Coast's annual Child Clothing Project this March!

We're calling all runners, walkers, joggers, hikers, and adventurers to the start line anytime 3/1-3/31 for our second VIRTUAL Rock the Road 5k. Your registration will provide the children of Okaloosa and Walton counties in Northwest Florida (who qualify for the free/reduced lunch program) with brand new, appropriate, clean, and well-fitted clothing. Beginning in 1979, this project has expanded allowing us to serve 400 + children in 31 schools yearly through the generosity of our supporters. In addition, your sponsorship funds the operation of 9 closets in our area schools which offer immediate access to clothing for students in need. In the wake of the hardships resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, our community's need for champions is as great as it has ever been.

Let's hit the pavement, trails, and treadmills to set a new PR for the Child Clothing Project this year!

All registrations constitute acknowledgment and acceptance of our virtual event participation waiver as outlined hereafter: 

I understand this is a virtual event that does not provide any medical or other support services, as I am participating at a time and location of my choosing. I acknowledge that I am participating in the Rock the Road Virtual 5k activity by my own free will and at my own personal risk. I certify that I am medically able to participate in this activity and will follow all pedestrian ordinances if running/walking outside. I fully waive and release the Junior League of the Emerald Coast and its affiliates, including event organizers and sponsors, from all claims and liabilities arising out of my participation in this event for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf. If I choose to publicly share any photographs/video/or other related media content with respect to my participation in this event, whether by using #JLEC, #RockTheRoad, or any other means, I am voluntarily providing my consent for Junior League of the Emerald Coast to feature this content on the organization's website, social media accounts, or for any other legitimate purpose.
